Valve released secretly a tf2 update which is bugged / broken / not working.
only linux servers are affected by this.
some server are still running fine because they did not have automaticly updated but it could happen anytime until they get the update request from steam servers.
we are going to fix the problem asap.
In this time you could experience some server downtime.
I'm sorry for the trouble.
